Personal Bio: Ms. Walsh was born in Buffalo, New York but grew up in East Amherst, New York. She has always loved working with kids, and most of her young adulthood was spent babysitting, coaching swim team, teaching swimming lessons and working at a camp for children and adults with disabilities and chronic illness. Ms. Walsh received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology with minors in Women's Studies and Psychology from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. After completing her Bachelor's Degree, she spent a gap year serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Erie, Pennsylvania working with people experiencing homelessness. After a year of service, she completed her Physician Assistant schooling at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. After completing her education, Ms. Walsh began working as a pediatric PA at a small private practice in Jamestown, New York. She has always dreamed of living in a place that allowed her to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle (and did not have as much snow as she's used to in Upstate New York!). After visiting Asheboro, Ms. Walsh fell in love with the area, the people and the weather. She is incredibly excited to start her new position as a PA at Randolph Health Pediatrics and is looking forward to meeting her patients and becoming a part of their health and wellness journey.
