Personal Bio: Jessica grew up just south of Randolph County in the small town of Robbins located in northern Moore County. She has been a resident of Randolph County for over 20 years. She began her nursing career in 1998 as a CNA at Randolph Hospital, then in 2000 she was hired as a new graduate in the Emergency Department there. She continued to work within that department for over 20 years in a full-time or part-time position while also taking on leadership roles at Moses Cone, Wesley Long and High Point Regional's emergency departments. In 2017, she decided the Leadership was not where she was best suited, and while working for The Agromedicine Institute at ECU, she decided to go back to school to complete a Post Master's Degree for her Family Nurse Practitioner. She had worked at a private Family Practice office in Asheboro for over 7 years before returning back to her roots here at Randolph Health in the Family Practice office in Seagrove. Jessica has been married for over 17 years and has one daughter, who is one of her greatest joys. She and her husband are also first-generation farmers where they raise Registered Black Angus cattle, row crops and hay. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to the beach. Her love for medicine and helping others shines through in the comprehensive care that she offers to her patients and the PA and NP students that she precepts.
