Personal Bio: Andi grew up in Randolph County, attended Seagrove Elementary School and graduated from Southwestern Randolph High School. She received her undergraduate degree, a BS in Biology, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Andi then graduated from medical technology school at Bowman Gray and worked as a clinical laboratory scientist for over six years before returning to PA school. She has a joint PA degree from both Duke University and East Carolina University. Andi earned a second BS degree in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University and a Master of Health Sciences from Duke University. She has been a physician assistant in primary care for over 20 years.

Andi has been married to her husband, Mark, for almost 30 years. They are huge Disney fans and are Disney annual passholders. She has recently started participating in the runDisney events. She ran in her first 5K at Disney in February 2022 as part of the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend.

Andi is proud to admit that she is a Breast Cancer Survivor. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2015 and was fortunate to have a wonderful team of surgeons, plastic surgeons and oncologist. Unfortunately, she was also diagnosed with endometrial cancer in May 2022. Andi is a passionate supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and helps raise money for the mammogram scholarship programs.
