Randolph Health entered into a new strategic partnership with Novant Health to make access to advanced heart care services more convenient for patients in and around Asheboro, North Carolina. The partnership officially kicked off with the opening of Randolph Health Heart & Vascular Institute, powered by Novant Health. Novant Health cardiologists and advanced practice providers will care for patients at this outpatient clinic, owned by Randolph Health and conveniently located on the hospital’s main campus. The clinic address is 373 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, N.C. Because of this partnership, patients will be able to be seen locally for all their heart care needs. Soon, the second phase of this new partnership will take place with the opening of our new catheterization lab, located on the main level at Randolph Health. Novant Health cardiologists will use it to perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients that previously had to be referred to other hospital systems outside of Randolph County. “Our vision is to deliver world-class cardiovascular care under one roof,” said Tim Ford, CEO of Randolph Health. “Novant Health is well-known as a leader in providing the best in advanced heart care services across this region. Our partnership will bring together the latest in multidisciplinary expertise, innovative technology and interventional capabilities to provide our patients with the care they need close to home.” Cardiovascular services have long been provided at Randolph Health and those services have grown in partnership with Novant Health. While the health care systems have collaborated on patient care for years, they recently decided to expand their partnership to allow heart patients in Randolph County to stay at Randolph Health for their care. “We are excited about this partnership and what it means for the community,” said Alisha Sexton, director of operations for Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute. “Novant Health is proud to build on Randolph Health’s long history of caring for patients in Asheboro and the surrounding communities. Ultimately, as more people move to the area, our goal is to simply help strengthen and expand access to cardiovascular services in the region.” Randolph Health Heart & Vascular Institute, powered by Novant Health, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call 336-626-3205

It's exciting to see that Randolph Health has opened a new Heart and Vascular Institute in partnership with Novant Health. This partnership will undoubtedly provide advanced care to many individuals in need of specialized heart and vascular services. As someone interested in senior care, I can appreciate how these types of facilities can improve the quality of life for older adults who require specialized attention. It’s encouraging to see new facilities like this opening, especially when heart and vascular health are such critical concerns today. Access to advanced care can make a real difference for so many families. What also comes to mind is how cardiovascular issues often overlap with sleep problems, like sleep apnea. For those struggling with CPAP intolerance, exploring an alternative to cpap machine can provide both comfort and better long-term outcomes for heart health.
