Helping the homeless Population In Our Community

With the help of First United Methodist Church of Asheboro, Jennifer Foreman, Nurse Practitioner with Randolph Health Internal Medicine, recognized the urgent need of the homeless population in our community and decided to take action. She will be offering free medical services on a first come, first served basis on Monday nights at the church's Asbury Center. Spaces will open at 5pm for access to a shower, washer and dryer, and a warm meal. Medical services will begin at 6pm. Stay tuned for the opening date as they are working diligently to get everything set up. Their needs are: medical staff to volunteer- nurses, medical assistants, providers, etc. and also monetary donations to fund supplies. If you would like to help, email: medical.fumc@gmail.com.

"I believe we should use the gifts we are given to help others," said Jennifer Foreman, Nurse Practitioner with Randolph Health Internal Medicine.
