Medical Assistants Recognition Week: October 17 - 21
Thank you for all you do!
We are excited to celebrate Medical Assistants Recognition Week, October 17 - 21, as designated by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Medical assistants across the country will be recognized during this special week to show our appreciation to all the medical assistants who work tirelessly to make our lives easier. Medical assistants are health professionals that support the work of physicians and other health professionals, usually in a clinic setting. They do so many things to help make the clinic run smoothly.
Medical assisting is an allied health profession whose practitioners function as members of the health care delivery team and perform administrative and clinical procedures. With their unique versatility, medical assistants are proving to be the allied health professional of choice for this decade and beyond. In fact, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, medical assisting continues to be projected as one of the fastest growing occupations.
We are proud supporters of Medical Assistants Recognition Week. We know that medical assistants play an important and versatile role carrying out administrative and clinical procedures to ensure patients receive the best level of health care.
Again, thank you for all that you do!
